This is one of a collection of 7 bowls made from the same log from a local Beech tree that fell in storms a few years ago.  The highly patternated wood is as result of the natural decay process and the actions of moulds in the wood. Mother Nature at her finest.  The exterior has high gloss finish and the interior finished with a food safe finish.  Although desinged as snack bowls they can be used for a vaiety of uses.
