This is a stunning piece of Paduak with some fantastic grain and highlights.  The wood has traces of minerals embedded in it so in bright light one can see little sparkles similar to Diamonds twinkling.  To further enhance the piece the grain has been filled with a shimmering gold wax.  The raised roses on the pewter lid really does make this a showpiece for any home.
