Made from Ash a light-coloured hardwood that has beautiful grain which has been highlighted by the addition of the Plum colour to create the realism of the piece. One has the grain highlighted with a sparkly purple wax for added effect.  These are sample pieces to test the interest in other fruits apart from Apples and Pears.  A dark Mahogany stalk complements the colour of the piece.
